With a background that blends building surveying and planning, Rowan brings a depth to heritage consultancy, seeing the whole picture, both commercial and technical.

She is as comfortable in policy discussions as she is on scaffold towers inspecting 15th Century timber framing.

What drives Rowan is the variety of her role. One day she’s working on a Georgian chapel, the next a mid-20th century warehouse. Every building tells a story, and she listens hard, ensuring that she’s helping her clients write the next chapter with care and creativity.

Specialising in church architecture and historic timber structures, Rowan brings a specialist knowledge that is matched by few. Her advice is practical, never preachy, and she is aware that a good heritage strategy must work for tomorrow as well as yesterday.

Rowan is part of the Historic Churches Committee for the Roman Catholic Diocese of East Anglia, offering expert guidance on listed places of worship. She is also a trustee of her local village hall, giving back to the community she calls home.

Right now, Rowan is advising on strategic landholdings for 1,200 dwellings - proving heritage isn’t a blocker to progress, but a partner to it.
