Biodiversity net gain initiative creating c.300 biodiversity units for sale.

• Overview

  Suffolk Wildlife Trust are delivering a landscape scale BNG scheme to generate over 300 biodiversity units. The scheme will revert organic arable land into a species-rich grassland mosaic and floodplain grassland enhanced into a new inter-tial habitat.

• Developers can secure biodiversity units for the following habitat types:

  • Grassland habitats
  • Heathland and shrub habitats
  • Lake habitats
  • Hedgerow habitats
  • Coastal saltmarsh habitats
  • Intertidal sediment habitats
