Environmental Impact Assessment

Protecting the environment, promoting positive planning.

Minimising the environmental impact of our clients’ proposed developments is at the heart of the Bidwells Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) service. We are recognised by the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) as being at the forefront of good practice and expertise in EIA. This is reflected by our EIA Quality Mark Accreditation, which demonstrates our ‘competent expert’ status.

Our highly experienced EIA team embeds EIA principles and considerations into our project work from the outset. This informs design, minimises adverse environmental impacts, maximises positive planning outcomes and ensures cost effective solutions for our clients. We coordinate and produce EIAs from instruction through to consent, identifying risks early in the project in order to streamline the process and improve the chances of a positive planning decision.

Every project has its own unique set of challenges and opportunities and our advice is tailored to meet your requirements. Our clients are some of the UK’s major house builders, universities, developers and conservation charities – they partner with us for our expertise, commitment to best practice and exceptional results.
